Harlow Chorus is a highly successful amateur chorus of some 100 voices, celebrating over 35 years of choral singing in Harlow and the surrounding counties of East Anglia.

Our principal objective is to inspire and train amateur singers to perform choral works to standards which are nationally recognised as being of the highest calibre and to present those works to the widest possible audience.

The choir mounts a season of concerts in venues throughout the east of England as well as accepting engagements. Orchestras it has performed with include the London Philharmonic, with which the choir has made two acclaimed recordings, City of London Sinfonia, Britten Sinfonia and the Brandenburg Sinfonia, with whom it regularly performs at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London. The Chorus also tours extensively abroad - most recently to South Africa, Ireland and Estonia. As well as performing a wide range of classical and lighter works, Harlow Chorus programmes contemporary pieces in many of its concerts and is committed to new music, having commissioned three new works in the last seven years.
