New Members WelcomeWe are always looking to recruit new members and
would welcome more singers in all voice sections. We offer the
experience of rehearsing and performing under a fantastic
choral director with an excellent choir, We are interested in hearing from you even though you may not be able to commit to performing in all concerts (see contact details below). Equal Opportunities PolicyHarlow Chorus is an amateur, auditioned choir with the aim of fostering public knowledge and appreciation of choral music by publicly performing such music to the highest possible musical standards. It is committed to offer everyone who supports this aim an equal opportunity to be part of our membership, to work with us, join our associated groups or be part of our audience. Membership is limited of necessity only in terms of musical ability, voice quality and the need to maintain a balanced choir to perform to the highest musical standard. Free membership for under 25sUnder a scheme to attract new members from the younger end of the age spectrum we are offering free membership if you are under 25 years old.
Harlow Chorus meets on Monday evenings from 7.30pm to 10.00pm at St John's Arts and Recreation Centre, Market Street, Old Harlow CM17 0AJ (map). Members enjoy stimulating and entertaining rehearsals with Alexander Chaplin, Musical Director and Susan Graham Smith, Accompanist, whose professional talents enhance the experience and lead to high standards in concert performance.
