Harlow Chorus is a highly successful amateur choir of over 70 voices, celebrating nearly 50 years of choral singing. With its regular seasonal programme of high quality concerts, it aims to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of choral music.
The Chorus presents four or five concerts a year, performing with professional orchestras and soloists. Although the Chorus has undertaken foreign tours in the past, performances today are usually given in local venues.
As well as the well-known classical composers, its repertoire encompasses lighter programme music (recent concerts featured choruses from Rogers & Hammerstein and film music – Frozen, Zulu, etc). All our rehearsals are open to the public and to potential new members, so why not pay us a visit.
We rehearse every Monday evening from 7:30pm-9.45pm at St John's Arts and Recreation Centre, Old Harlow.

Following the departure of Edward-Rhys Harry, who has taken up a role with the Military Wives Choirs, we are delighted to welcome back our former Musical Director (and President), Sarah Tenant-Flowers, who will be leading us for our next two concerts (Handel's Judas Maccabaeus and "American Pie"),
We are pleased to announce the appointment of James Morley Potter as our new Musical Director with effect from next season.
